Nicole is the third generation Kissler to head the business. After completing family prerequisites for joining the company, Nicole started working as a medical customer service representative in 2014. From then on, she has held many different roles, getting first-hand experience within the business. In July of 2021 Nicole took the helm as CEO of Norco. She believes "Our business enables us to work with purpose. Not only providing medical, industrial, safety supplies, and gases, but being able to contribute to the communities that continue to support us as a business."
Mike joined the Norco team in 2014. Prior to that he served as corporate controller, director of accounting and VP and controller at three different Idaho-based companies. He is proficient at financial analysis and strategic planning and is instrumental in guiding and protecting Norco's financial health and longevity. When he's not busy with spreadsheets and calculations, he can be found on the ski hill, coaching or enjoying the powder himself.
After working in various positions outside the company and within Norco, Jim purchased Norco from his father in 1985 (see full Norco history here). Since then he has continued to passionately instill in employees, customers and communities the fundamental values upon which his parents established Norco. Jim has resided in Boise, Idaho for most of his life, and enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with his three daughters, grandchildren, and taking in a Boise State Broncos game.
Having been promoted from within after starting in 1990, Brent career path, like many others at Norco, is a great example of the opportunities available to team members looking to launch a rewarding career. In 2022, president became Brent's 9th position at Norco. His other positions included medical route driver, clinician, branch manager, as well as many more. Brent excels at embracing the change necessary to continue Norco's history of serving our customers and communities better.
Larry started working for Norco on June 5th, 1985 and began his current role in May of 2022. Having filled a number of positions during his 37 years with Norco, he started in our Boise warehouse, moved into customer service, sales, branch management, and since 1999 has been the product manager for Norco's Welding and Automation division. His extensive experience both with Norco and in the industry brings a lot to the table.
George oversees Norco's Eastern industrial division with locations in Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. With more than 20 branches across five states, George is able to share his wealth of knowledge with a large part of the Norco team. He came to Norco during an acquisition of Wyoming's Gases Plus in 1984 and like many others has held a variety of postions in the company including his current position which he accepted in January of 2012.
Rob has excelled at a number of positions at Norco during his tenure. In 1997, he began working at a Norco gas production facility and has served in many positions since. Those roles include but aren't limited to customer service, industrial sales, and branch management. Rob joined Norco's leadership team in 2019, overseeing industrial locations across Washington, Oregon, Montana and Idaho. His extensive knowledge of the business makes him the go-to expert for many at Norco.
Currently in his 29th year at Norco, Troy’s smart, and competitive nature, combined with genuine empathy and compassion make him the right person to lead Norco’s medical division. His career is a great example of how hard work and commitment are rewarded at Norco. Troy joined Norco part-time as a respiratory therapy student, transitioning to full-time after graduation. His past positions have included route manager, clinician, outside sales, branch manager and regional vice president. In his executive vice president role, Troy is perfectly positioned to lead the division by example while serving Norco’s customers and communities better.
Paul started in the industry as an equipment technician while attending college. He has over 30 years of experience and a strong operational background. In addition to his previous role as Norco's medical sales manager, Paul serves as a board member of the Pacific Association of Medical Equipment Services (PAMES) and as the association's president. Paul and his wife Michelle, along with their 17 year old son Bret and two dogs, Dozer and Gunner enjoy time outdoors and on the water. His eldest son Wade attends school at Western Washington University.
Joe is another longtime Norco employee with a robust history. Currently managing Norco medical locations along the I-5 corridor of Western Washington and Western Oregon, Joe started his career with Norco in 1993 as a medical driver, His hunger for growth and development led to a number of opportunities including industrial customer service, medical outside sales, and branch management. In 2019, Joe began his current vice president role and in 2022 is enthusiastic about new growth, both personal and professional, that comes with an expanded region.
Thad Phelps joined Norco in September 2020 as a regional medical trainer helping implement training and development programs while supporting branches in Southern Idaho, Eastern Oregon, and Nevada. Prior to Norco, he spent 20 years managing retail store teams and providing support to district and regional management at 82 different locations in the Pacific Northwest. Along with years of experience, Thad brings his infectious energy and positive outlook to the role.
